Robin George's Damage Control return to Rock the Axarquia.

On Thursday, August 16th Damage Control will be playing at 10pm at Mis Tapitas (Billy’s Bar), Puente don Manuel, Alcaucin. Entrance is free but there’ll be collection tins for donations to Axarquia on-line Animal Rescue, in recognition of the wonderful work they do for abandoned and mistreated animals. Late on the night of Friday 17th, Damage Control once again headlines the Periana August Feria. If you’ve never seen a band of this calibre, now’s your chance! Guitar legend Robin George has worked with some of the biggest British rock bands. He’s been in Thin Lizzy, The Climax Blues Band and Asia and has also worked with Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, UFO, Uriah Heep and Magnum as well as with such solo artists as Ruby Turner, Roy Wood and Daniel Boone. Damage Control features world class musicians. The stunning Amelinde shares lead vocals with Robin and the rock steady, power rhythm section is Ian Green and Paul Hart. Two fantastic nights of Rock and Blues; covers and original material from the band’s forthcoming album.
