Robin George's Damage Control return to Rock the Axarquia.

On Thursday, August 16th Damage Control will be playing at 10pm at Mis Tapitas (Billy’s Bar), Puente don Manuel, Alcaucin. Entrance is free but there’ll be collection tins for donations to Axarquia on-line Animal Rescue, in recognition of the wonderful work they do for abandoned and mistreated animals. Late on the night of Friday 17th, Damage Control once again headlines the Periana August Feria. If you’ve never seen a band of this calibre, now’s your chance! Guitar legend Robin George has worked with some of the biggest British rock bands. He’s been in Thin Lizzy, The Climax Blues Band and Asia and has also worked with Led Zeppelin’s Robert Plant, Deep Purple’s Glenn Hughes, UFO, Uriah Heep and Magnum as well as with such solo artists as Ruby Turner, Roy Wood and Daniel Boone. Damage Control features world class musicians. The stunning Amelinde shares lead vocals with Robin and the rock steady, power rhythm section is Ian Green and Paul Hart. Two fantastic nights of Rock and Blues; covers and original material from the band’s forthcoming album.

Gran éxito en el concierto de Robin George´s Power Band en Sábar.

Robin George's Power Band sacudió la Axarquía, una vez más en la noche del sábado, la apertura de la nueva sala de música, Damage Control Music Bar en Sabar, con una actuación de estilo elegante y realizado de manera sorprendente. El trío de Robin, Ian Green y Paul Hart alimentado a través de una introducción hizo retumbar el suelo que dejó a la multitud gritando con las notas de los primeros sonidos eléctricos. Era obvio que teníamos una clase magistral de guitarra entre nosotros. De hecho Robin ha jugado en Thin Lizzy y la Climax Blues Band, así como con Robert Plant.

El nivel de intensa emoción se mantuvo cuando Amelinde, impresionante, se les unió en el escenario de un increíble rock / funk conjunto que funciona a través de la noche a la última nota de la tercera repetición.

Una abertura acústica establecido por el elegante Pulsar Lara sentó las bases para una noche fantástica organizada por el Grupo Boxer Moto y su personal profesional y amable.

Axarquia rocks with Robin George.

A fund-raising event run by Teresa Dainty for Axarquia On-line Animal Rescue at the Ortega Restaurant near Riogordo has been declared a success by organisers.

Robin George of Thin Lizzy and The Climax Blues Band attended the event to show his support for this extremely worthwhile cause.

Robin has pledged to share profits and a percentage of ticket sales for his Power Band concert at Damage Control Music Bar, Sabar on Saturday April 14 with this charity.

This will be the season’s opening event at this newly refurbished venue, home of the Boxer Motogroup.

Robin George is bringing his Power Band to provide a great night out with Lara Pulsar opening the evening's show.
